On February 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Junior League of Canton will partner with Hammer and Nails to help a disabled, single mom update her home. Hammer and Nails is an ecumenical Christian nonprofit outreach organization based in Canton. They are dedicated to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged area homeowners through home and property improvements. The home is located on 30th Street NE (Route 62). You can work the entire day, or a few hours. We have two shifts; 9a-12p or 12p-3p. Our work will consist primarily of painting, so be sure to wear appropriate clothes.
